Design
& Development
Design and Development has become so complex that
in-house resources often need some specific support
in order to succeed. We can assist in designing, building,
and implementing complete system solutions through
mainframes, distributed computing and LANs. We are
able to match the appropriate technology to a business's
needs by using a range of tools, from COBOL to advanced
technologies (C, C++, Imaging, Expert Systems, Prototyping,
CASE, JAVA, HTML, Neural Networks, etc.).
And,
TSG can support firms with project management, user
requirements definition, system design and development,
testing and conversions, and documentation and training.
Global
Development
We have a professional staff in New York, and Asia,
and can call upon our affiliate in Europe and Israel
for additional, cost effective resources when necessary.
By using our proven global development methodology,
we can take responsibility for complete projects that
will be developed in a low cost environment, or we
will bring highly skilled individuals or teams from
other regions to work with your staff. In this case,
we will manage the visas, transportation and accommodations.
Project
Management
No
project can succeed without professional project management.
We have managers who understand the securities business
and who have had training and experience managing
large and small projects.
Re-Hosting
Many firms are considering re-hosting their legacy
systems onto a web-enabled platform or to a client/server
architecture in order to reduce operating costs, increase
development flexibility and provide additional client
service. Re-hosting requires a detailed knowledge
of the old and the new platforms, as well as an in-depth
understanding of the securities business and the user's
unique requirements. We have successfully re-hosted
many systems onto a number of different platforms,
and can assist your team or perform the entire project
on a fixed price basis.
Documentation
& Training
User training can be a by-product of a well-structured
user requirements document. When organized as a single
project, user documentation can become the base for
on-the-job training, classroom training, or computer
based training and can be available as a HELP function
through our on-line reference tools. TSG has developed
and delivered numerous client-specific training programs
for specific processes, as well as staff developmental
programs that include managing change, leadership
and technology management.
