Assisted a leading New York-based Global Custodian in the design and installation of a multi-currency, multi-legal vehicle global record keeping system that is currently in use in New York and Mexico, and which is being implemented worldwide. TSG staff were totally responsible for developing several of the major subsystems that were essential to this multi-million dollar effort, and assisted the client's staff on other deliverables.
Mainframe Development
Designed and participated in the user development of the Girl Scouts' Membership Registration System using COBOL/CICS, and continue to assist in the maintenance and enhancement of the live system.
Responsible for the Requirements Definition, the Feasibility Study, and the development of the complete Functional Specifications for the case tracking systems used by the District Attorney's offices in King's and Queen's Counties.

TSG was responsible for identifying improvements and coordinating the implementation of the recommendations. Completed the Business and Functional Requirements documents for a major NY public pension fund. Evaluated vendors, recommended the development approach and assisted in implementation.
Maintain Legacy Systems
Maintained and enhanced various IBM mainframe legacy systems for serveral clients while client resources were focused on developing and installing new applications. Frequently the legacy systems had not been fully documented and some source code was missing. These projects required close cooperation and continuous communication with the client's systems staff and user community.
Investment Performance Systems
Responsible for developing the requirements and system specifications for several major enhancements, and for the full systems development life cycle. The enhanced system includes an on-line, menu driven report writer developed by TSG, and calculates rates of return as well as comparisons to other investment universes.
Designed and implemented performance measurement process (per AIMR standards) using Advent AXYS. Defined the standard output that our client provided to their customers.
Database Systems
Developed and implemented an on-line check disbursement system for periodic and lump sum payments, and federal, state and local tax reporting. This system was developed in a CICS/IDMS environment.

Open Systems Development
Developed the on-line (COBOL/ CICS) component of a CMO processing system that consists of 25 screens, and which is integrated with other mainframe and PC applications.
Re-Hosting
Re-hosted various legacy systems to VAX for a client in order to reduce the number of hardware platforms in use.
Re-hosted several mainframe applications to a PC LAN as the initial step in the client's migration of applications to a complete client/server architecture.
Client/Server Applications
Supplemented our client's development team with several client/server experts, and also developed a complete client/server system. The technical environment consisted of Visual Basic for the Prototype, with a final system using Power Builder for the GUI, and Sybase.
Project Management
Supplemented a client's resources by assuming project management responsibility for major segments of overall systems development project. Advised the project manager on controls and management techniques, prepared weekly management updates and identified potential problem areas before they affected the project.
Data Center Management
